In Created to Flourish, Peter and Phil explore the Church’s call to respond to families living in poverty, and discuss practical ways to get involved. Learn how men and women around the world are using employment-based solutions to provide for their families and serve their communities.

In addition to material sufficiency, we hope to see people find their soul’s satisfaction in Christ and become dignified providers.

HOPE responds to Christ’s commands to love our neighbors and make disciples of all nations, through discipleship, biblically based training, a safe place to save, and loans.

A graduate of Harvard’s Kennedy School, Peter worked in Rwanda, Zimbabwe, and Cambodia prior to coming to HOPE in 2004. Peter is the co-author of several books, including The Spiritual Danger of Doing Good (2013), Mission Drift (2014), and 40/40 Vision (2015). Peter lives in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Laurel, and their three children.
